Plainview, AR—It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and Plainview is ready to ring in the season with the 3rd Annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 7, 2024! Start your morning at the Plainview-Rover School Cafeteria from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, where families can enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast for just $5.00 per person. Proceeds from the breakfast will go towards improving our beloved City Park, so you can enjoy a delicious meal and support our community’s green spaces at the same time.
What’s on the menu? A delicious spread of pancakes, eggs, sausage, and biscuits with gravy—the perfect way to fuel up for a day full of holiday cheer. And while you’re enjoying breakfast, be sure to grab a free photo with Santa, who will be spreading Christmas cheer all morning long. But keep a close eye out—the Grinch is sure to sneak in and stir up some playful mischief in the festivities!
But wait, there’s even more holiday magic! “We’re thrilled to kick off the day with our Breakfast with Santa at 7 a.m.,” said organizers, “and then families can head over to the VFW Post 8525 for Santa’s Workshop starting at 9 a.m. for even more holiday fun. It’s all about bringing joy to the community, and the more, the merrier!”

The holiday season in Plainview begins on December 1st with the return of Milo the Elf, who just shared the exciting news with PACE headquarters—he’s back for another thrilling Christmas hunt adventure! Milo had so much fun hiding around town last year that he’s ready for another great adventure in our special little town.

The holiday cheer keeps going with Plainview’s Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Wednesday, December 4th, starting at 5:30 p.m.! Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies, courtesy of the Beautification Committee, and gather for the town’s Christmas parade, brought to you by the City of Plainview. Join friends, family, and neighbors for an unforgettable evening filled with the warmth of community spirit!
