Plainview is buzzing with excitement as Frontier Days quickly approaches, October 24—25th, and this year, the fun starts early with t-shirt presales and raffles already underway.
The official Frontier Day t-shirt is a true tribute to our community, featuring a photo-turned-clipart design of our beloved old town Sheriff’s Office. This photo was captured by local photographer Nathan Pucket, giving the design an even more hometown charm. The back of the shirt proudly showcases the sponsors who help make the event possible. Shirts are available for just $12 when purchased online in advance or $15 at the event. Youth sizes are only available through online presales, so families are encouraged to order early to ensure the perfect fit.
Alongside t-shirt sales, three raffles are offering up exciting prizes. One raffle features a whole hog—processed any way the winner chooses—plus a 6.9 cubic foot freezer. The winner can keep the freezer stocked for months or share the meat with friends and family. Proceeds from the hog raffle directly support Plainview Arkansas Community Events (PACE), a nonprofit organization, helping us continue to grow Frontier Days, Breakfast with Santa, and the community hunts. The other two raffles feature beautiful handmade quilts: one with a detailed deer scene and the other with a cheerful flip-flop design. Funds from these quilt raffles will go toward supporting other local charities.

Winners of the raffles will be announced during the live concert by Hill Street Blues on Saturday night, October 25th, between 6 and 8 PM. You do not have to be present to win, so every ticket purchased is your chance to take home a prize.

With the new Frontier Day Stampede Glow Fun Run, delicious food, more than 60 vendors, live music and other family activities, Frontier Days promises to be Plainview’s biggest and best celebration yet.
